FS: 3 sets of springs for an 02 CL-S: Eibach, Tanabe, and OEM
Ive got a set of Tanabe NF210's (for a 2002 CL); the front springs were mounted, the back ones were not. There are NO miles on them; I went through 3 different sets trying to make up my mind when I changed to aftermarket. I'd like to get $150 + shipping; I paid a little over 200 for the set. They drop the vehicle about 1.25".
I have a set of used Eibachs that drop about 2.25". They were on the car when I bought it and have about 10K miles on them. I'd like $100 + shipping for those.
Finally, I have the OEM set as well. $25 + shipping They have 25K miles on them.
I'll be glad to take pictures of any of them if someone would like to see. If you want to email me directly, my address is karussel@charter.net. I'm in the B'ham, AL area.
Not that it matters, but I ended up settling on the H&R OEM Sports. It lowered it about 3/4 of an inch.

You guys could have googled Tanabe to find this out, but here it is.
http://www.tanabe-usa.com/springs/sp...tions.asp?id=2
The site shows the spring kits for the 02CL and the 02TL are the same, TNF074.
Original equipment Acura springs show the same part numbers for the front springs, but different part numbers for the rear springs, but I guess Tanabe made them fit both.

The Eibach springs have been sold.
Ive only had a couple of inquiries about the Tanabes. These springs are new - again except for the front ones having been mounted. I still have them in the original box along with the paperwork. These are nice springs - Ive seen quite a few pictures posted, and the drop on them looks really good. I think one of the better examples is Mr. Fusion's car - a black 01 CL-S. I need to get rid of these; I'm moving in a few weeks and dont want to have to take these with me. Somebody make me an offer; I might be somewhat flexible on the price...

Bump - okay $125 shipped. Geesh, what's the deal with these springs? 6 months ago people were talking about these and the Teins. Now, it's like they arent in demand. Again, they are new, and I paid a little over $200 for them. They dropped the front of my car more than I was happy with; judging from the pics Ive seen, they are comparable in ride height to the Eibachs or Teins. Somebody throw me a bone....

just to let everyone know, I purchased the Tanabe Springs from karussel. He says he shipped them on 11/25 and I still have not received them. He says he sent them USPS w/o tracking or insurance,
so we will see what happens. I will say he has been very quick to respond to emails so far.

You know, I do appreciate the follow-up after posting your gripe. But let's be clear on this - none of us have any control over what the USPS does. I cant help that it took almost 3 weeks to the day to get them; this is the Christmas season, in case anyone's forgotten. And as for insurance, c'mon. You got brand new springs that run $200 plus shipping on a good day shipped to you for $125. So complaining to everyone on the board about me not adding $3 for insurance kind of bothers me, especially when you never said anything about it either way to begin with. Not to mention these are steel and packaged in a very large box - somehow I just dont think they could be broken or lost. I always do right when selling stuff online, whether it's on the rare occasion here, or more frequently on eBay. So it bugs me when someone makes a post for everyone to see that I'm questionable. I mean, had those springs not gotten to you, I would have been made to look like a crook.
I'll get off my soap box now....
Stealth CL, thanks for the plug.
Josh, you do realize it runs almost 20 bucks to ship these, right? I'll sell 'em for $15 plus actual shipping, which would work out to be around $32-$35 from what Ive seen with shipping on the other 2 sets. If you're interested, give me your zip code and I'll find out for sure.
Moderators, if you dont see a response from Josh in the next day or so, please feel free to close this thread.

Honestly, I had no idea either until I shipped the first set. I guess the weight runs it up. Anyway, I'll pack them up and find out shipping and get back to you.
