FS: 2003 CL-CLS onstar unit, mirror, and antenna

I am selling an Onstar unit, Onstar rearview and roof antenna from a 2003 CL-S. I purchased this stuff a year or two back when I did the factory navi conversion. I never got around to hooking it up and have since removed the factory navi and replaced it with a car pc. I have the entire Onstar unit, the roof antenna and the rearview. The roof antenna and the mirror both have the wiring pigtails still attached. You can get the wiring harness for the Onstar unit from AcuraAutomotiveparts.com for $100. Since I have no way of testing the unit it is being sold AS-IS. When it was taken out of the previous car it was functioning fine. I am asking $600 OBO plus shipping for the whole lot. Paypal add 3%. I have eBay feedback and members on here that can vouch for me upon request. If anyone is interested let me know and I will post pictures.

I am not sure if anyone has ever pulled it off. It shouldnt be much more difficult than the Navi conversion may even be easier but who knows. I will post pics when I get home from work.

willing to part out just the antenna? and if you'll know if the antenna can be used as a replacement for the navi antenna? I'm currently doing the navi conversion and is missing that antenna. Also how hard/easy was it to install your carputer?

would be good to know if this is the digital or analog system. i'm not sure myself on the 2nd gens but analog onstar has been phased out by gm.

not sure if this works:

At this point right now I would rather not part out. Also, I do not think this would work as a replacement for the GPS antenna.

The VIN options will not work as I do not know the number of the car they came out of. It is from an 03 so if anyone on here has an 03 with onstar still hooked up please chime in.

The initial asking price was a ball park as I wasnt really sure what the unit was worth. I did a little research and I think I was asking a little much so I am going to drop the price down to $400.

Sorry to rain on your parade. If this unit is out of a CL, it is worthless. They're analog and no longer supported meaning no upgrade path to digital.

Well thats a bummer. If anyone has any use for this thing let me know. If you pay for shipping and a couple of extra bucks for gas to drop it off Ill give it to you. Not sure what you could use it for I just hate to toss it in the trash.

If I could somehow mount the antenna on my roof and then maybe install the mirror then I would take it. I love the way those CL's look that have them.

I've made countless calls to Acura and OnStar to no avail over the last several years... and in the end... we got it in the end by Acura/Onstar...

Now I had considered adapting a later model TL OnStar system onto my CL, but it's probably not worth the effort. Anyone want to be the first to try it?
