FS: 2003 Acura 3.2TL Type-S
My car is up for sale. All the parts are currently on the car, so here’s your chance to buy the whole package as it sits. If it doesn’t sell, then I will part everything out.
2003 3.2TL Type-S
Satin silver metallic exterior, Ebony interior
63,935 miles on the odometer as of 7/27/2006
Purchased 1/3/2003 from Acura of Troy in Troy, Michigan.
I’ve been on this forum for a long time, so there’s no bullshit about my car here. You guys all know what I did with it, but you also know how well I took care of her.
As she sits right now, there are no problems with the car whatsoever. Mechanically, she's 100% functional. She's been absolutely reliable.
Appearance-wise, the paint has been kept in excellent condition. During the warm seasons, I typically spend several hours a week on wash/wax/polish. During the winter, I usually take her to a DIY wash once a week or so to keep the salt off, and get a $15-$20 hand wash every week or two.
Interior is also in excellent condition; I use Zaino leather conditioner regularly.
Okay, there are some defects, just like every other car --
1. The Enkei wheels are slightly scuffed up.
2. Rear bumper has a couple of scratches on them, which I touched up. But you can still see it upon close inspection.
3. Driver side rear passenger door has a scratch.
4. Hood has a few rock chips.
5. Both rear fenders are rolled and the paint has chipped on the inside. It's in okay shape, however.
** I will pay out of pocket to have the front bumper/lip repainted. There are several rock chips on there which are unsightly, and I would be glad to have it completely repainted prior to sale if the buyer requests it.
I still have some of the stock parts, which will come with the car. All the modifications are in excellent working order, and it is set up nicely.
List of the modifications currently on the car --
- 18x7.5 Enkei ZR2
- Kumho ASX 225/40/18 (good tread left on all tires)
- Tein SS w/ EDFC
- Comptech sway bars
- SPC camber kits F/R
- Rotora BBK, Rotora rear slotted rotors w/ EBC Greenstuff pads (plenty of life left on all pads)
- ATE Super Blue brake fluid
- AEM CAI
- OBX SS headers
- UR pulley set w/ Gates belts
- V-AFC II (tuned, custom mounted in the sunglass holder)
- Thermoblok Spacer Kit
- Yellow Top battery w/ battery terminals
- Both throttle bodies coolant feed bypassed
- OEM body kit, front and rear custom molded
- Ti-350 35% tint (front two taken off due to a ticket)
- Cleared headlights
- Grille-Tech grilles
- TechOne 8000K HID foglights
- fully dynamatted trunk
-Spoon thermostat, thermo-switch and 1.35-bar radiator cap.
I'm asking 23,000 dollars, but I'm flexible. I'm willing to negotiate, so shoot me a PM if you're interested, please.
Latest pictures of the car can be seen at the following link; not much at all has changed since then -- > https://acurazine.com/forums/showthread.php?t=134867

Dibs on your CAI if u decide to part out. What color is it? And i'll trade you my stock headlights for your cleared out ones, if a buyer doesn't want cleared out lights.
Anyways good luck on your sale. Anyone would be lucky to pick up your clean ass ride.

Why are you selling it? what is the new ride on the horizon. I hope you plan to stay on this forum, I lvoe to read your posts and your advise is always honest and knowledgable. whoever buys your car will be buying a "rea;" fun-to-drive TL. Good luck with the sale, if I had the money I would buy it.
