FS 2001 MDX Touring/Nav $21,500 OBO

My wife loves here MDX however with child #3 on the way, we need space for 3 INFANT seats (we also have 18 month old twin boys) so our 2001 MDX Touring/Navi is being replaced with a new 2006 Honda Odyssey which will be purchased as soon as the MDX is sold.

We are the 2nd owners. We purchsed the MDX 2 days after our twin boys where born 18 months ago from Smithtown Acura in Smithtown NY. The vehicle had 42k miles on it when purchased by us and currently just turned 53k miles.

At 50k miles we spent $700 on 4 brand new Bridgestone Dueler Alenza tires. Last week we had the spring recall completed and had the oil changed. Overall vehicle is in excellent condition and garaged 100% of the time.

2001 MDX Touring & Navi
Silver/Ebony
53k miles
7yr 100k mile certified pre-owned warranty
Acura Cargo Tray
Acura Lower Front Bumper Trim
Acura Fender Flares
Acura Running Boards
Acura Body Side Moldings

We are located on the eastern part of Long Island NY and am a negotiable on the price as my wife is due in 6 weeks with our 3rd child. I would like to have sold the MDX and purchased an Odyssey by then.

Not sure what else to say other than the vehicle is completely loaded, in excellent condition. We would NOT be selling it if we could more easily fit 3 infant seats.

I can be contacted at Mikeag60@optonline.net

Thanks,
Michael

I had a 2001 MDX same setup as him w/ navi and this by far is a kick ass deal. I sold mine w/ 45K to my parents for what I owed on it, but I could of easily sold it for $22K-$23K easily.

I am very surprised your selling it for so cheap. have you tried to post it on mdxforum.org?

I bet you put it on autotrader ,, it be gone less then a week at $22K.

I know that dealership will only offer you about 19K, but we both know you can get more. These MDX are bad ass
A cool bump for you also. Good luck on the sale of it. Sorry to hear you getting a Honda van over the MDX

what's the deal with your selling all these cars in your sig.

Are you in the business ?
Over a span of 20 years I have owned all these cars and technically over the past 8 years some of them have been primarily my wifes vehciles. I unfortunately spend a disporportionate amout of my income on buying a new car every year or so. I bought the MDX when my twin boys where born 18 months ago not thinking we would have another child and thinking the MDX would be with us for at least 5-6 years. Now I have 3 infant seats and a minivan just works out alot easier.

I traded the Evo in last year for an '04 TL because the Evo was brutual to drive on a daily basis.

I would accept as low as $20k ... and your right the dealers are offering around $19k I just feel at that point I would rather try to sell it privately for a little more.

If you are willing to accept 1k over what the dealer will offer on trade.....You are costing yourself more out of pocket. If you trade to the dealer for 19k, you don;t pay tak on the 19k. Not sure what taxes in NY are, but I would imagine tax on 19k would be more than 1k. Just a thought......

Not to open a can of worms but I am trading in my 2004 TL they are giving me $26k.... so the tax saving is maybe $100 - $200 If I where to trade the MDX also. I just feel I would have a better shot at selling the MDX privately for $20k than the TL for $26k.

I can tell you on my 2001, they were gonna give me 21500.00 for mine. And that is CASH price. nothing to buy from them. You can get more then 20K man. 20K is insane. Have u posted your price @ mdxforum.org?

No carmax by me ... I have posted on the MDX Forum with no response from someone interested in buying it. Believe it or not I have received a few responses from Craiglist.com.

Mike,, just be careful about the fraud e-mails from international buyers that claim they will pay by money order and ship it Fedex and never see your car.

Those are jokers.

Cash in hand from Craigslist. Good luck!!
