Why don't you ask your friend what a good number is and what his pricing would be with the number of people. You might get more interested that way!

If i read that correctly, the purchase is through them, so doesnt that make you the organizer who should be giving us the info since you're announcing the GB?

I think that is what I asked with my first post....
What is the price with what number of people....IE:

5 or more xxx.00
10 or more xxx.00

I am not gonna call for info on a group buy you are trying to set up....doesn't make sense

Then get to the details if they're so ready to go. Prices? Shipping included? Rates for 10? 20? Turn-around time?

You have to have this info in the thread when you start it. Otherwise, you get this flaming. ot only that, don't ever tell the other posters to make the call that you're trying to set up. If you're in on the deal, do your grunt work. It really isn't a group buy that you organized if you don't do anything. :flamer:

This deal sounds pretty shady. Why is it so hard to find out how much it costs?

Most group buys go like this:

"Hi my name is <insert name here> and I can get us a deal on <insert product here> from <insert company name here>. If we can get 5 people together the price will be $XXX or if we can get 10 people the price will be $YYY. If you are interested I will be placing the order on June 16th so I need your money no later than June 15th."

Don't you ever give up and get a hint? You have tried many times before and people kept asking for more info. Perhaps you forgot about the previous posts...

You are confusing me for someone else... I've had them in for a while. Someone else has been pushing the install back for fear the woofers won't fit. (They won't -- not without some cutting and a good spacer.)

Anyways, I like the woofers, but the tweeters are a little too bright. Highs are nice but not clear enough; mids are present but some instruments are not present; and lows are cut off at the JL amp. The PIE LOC in place is not very good -- there's some crackling sometimes -- and I still hope to replace it for a good line driver soon. I just need to find a job now that I'm done with school. I have no income right now; which is a little problem...

Overall, I don't recommend the type R's. Unless someone is installing a separate stereo. The signal from the stock HU is not the best. The speakers are much better than stock, however. OEM components are very muffled, as I'm sure most people noticed.
