this is the system in my 1g cl. it came out of a 99 tl. it fits perfectly into the double din slot. works perfect. the monitor is touch screen. it is the hard drive system however i have replaced the hard drive with a pcmcia card adapter and 512mb flash memory card works perfectly and cannot go bad cause there is no moving parts inside the card. it has the maps of the south east u.s. its map 8. however if you live outside of this map area you can take the pcmcia card to the nearest acura dealer and have them re program it for your region for 75$.. some dealerships do it for free.. so im told. this comes with the brain, wiring, monitor, tl booklet w/code, and wiring diagram to connect it to a 1g cl. im sellin it all for 450$ shipped. pm me or call me at 813-598-9554 if you have any questions.

almost forgot... this monitor will work for the 01-03 cl and tl even tho it has the hard drive based brain.

it will fit a 97 2.2cl? it looks a little big. would i have to move my stock radio? and how difficult is it to install?

that picture is just big as hell. i didnt do anything to the origional radio opening. when i bought the car there was a factory bose stereo in there, and below it was the plastic pocket. it fits perfectly inside the opening. the radio however i did have to modify the opening for it.. i cut out the ash tray and took out the lighter. im willing to include my consose if someone wants to trade, however it has to be from a 98-99 as the console is different for the 97's. if anyone has any more questions hit me up here or call me.
