Have one EVAP shut valve to let go. It was ordered from Acura Carland. Totally brand new and unused. With photo copy of the receipt as well.

It is mainly for your CEL code P1457.

I paid around $50 without shipping.

is this the reason my car makes a little waaaaaa noise when i park it and the car is off??? it's coming from the back of the car right under the drivers side passenger. its been like that for 2 years and only happens when hot???

I don't think so.

If you have my problem, the only symptom is the CEL with P1457 code. It won't affect any performance "literally". You can keep driving until you need to pass the inspection.

Usually, P1457 is mainly caused by the shut valve, as it is metal and will be quite rusty after many years' exposure to water, snow and salt. But it is good to change it together with the canister.
