Custom CL/TL GRILL Order Checklist HERE
 

Alright time for the group order again, I noticed a couple people were interested so here it is.

YES! Now i'm doing custom LOWER grilles for the TL (02-03) finally. They're $85 shipped, little bigger than the CL grille. I don't have any pics of them installed on a TL yet because I don't think the guy whose TL I measured around in my parking garage would like it if I customized his strict-stock ride.

All prices are listed there too. I will update this thread with a list of everybody whose payment I've received, only those will be included in the group order. The process will take about 2-3 weeks until shipment.

At least 50% of the payment is due to get in the group order, but you're more than welcome to pay in full so I could ship off the grilles right away as soon as they're finished. Initially, I did the 50% now 50% later rule to establish some credentials here, but by now after over 40 orders, i'm sure my credibility is proven.

Yes, indeed that's what I've been making for the past 7 months. The lower grill for the CL is $80 shipped, same price for all colors and styles.

I was wondering if you can make one for the cl, all i need is a one whole piece for the middle top grill for the hood, maybe if i sent you my grill you can use it as a template and amke some for the 1st gens of the forums. let me know what you need im totally down to see this i like your designs for the newer cl's and the dimond grill plating.

also would it be possible to make one for the bottom as well?

i can work something out with ya if you want take pics, etc. make measurements if you need just let me know cause your work with the cl-s grills is very nice and professional and i like if you could do the same for our first gens. the main grill that most people would want would probably be the main hood grill if you can let me know by PMing me our AOL IM @ jgiguere17

waterboy, yes it should fit the TLS, it will fit all TL 2002 and up, both TL-P and TL-S.

yeah, if you wanna send me your stock housing, that'll work too, but it'll take about 2-3 weeks, are you sure you can wait that long while the car is lookin like somebody just stole your grill.
I'm down with that plan if you are. For the lower grill, what you can do is, take a cardboard long enough to cover the whole lower grill space. Then cut the cardboard to the exact shape of the grill space. You can then send the cardboard template along with your stock upper grill to me. Just make sure the templating of the lower grille is precise to the grill space, because the final product would be an exact shape of the cardboard.

ST u made a mistake in my order i wanted with fogs not with out i ordered the hella fogs just like urs please make that correction and also u should recieve ur funds by the middle of this week or no later then Friday August 22

How do they mount?? How much skill and time do you think is involved?? Thanks

The lower and side vents grilles are mounted using small zip ties, straight forward and simple installation yet much stronger than any type of bonds.
The upper grille will require a little trimming around the screw holes, you'll need to take the stock grille housing apart. The grille goes between the grille frame and the black grille housing.

Group Order update: The grilles have arrived! They're getting customized starting tonight, it'll take about 3-4 days to get all of them cut to shape, since there are more orders than the usual.
Then the next step would be the clear coating to make them rust-proof, and they have to dry out completely before shipping so the paint wouldn't get screwed. So I expect all to get done by this weekend, shipping will start monday. I'll keep you all updated!

Any word on the grilles? Will you still be shipping them out to us this week?

I've started shipping out the grilles since last wednesday. The order completion and shipment is based on the order that the payment was received. Yours will ship this friday the latest, just waiting for one last clear coating.

By the way here are pics of the TL lower grille in black diamond style, looks similar to the CL but different shape and size.
