Comptech for 2003 CL S

And how about the adjustable Koni shocks? If I get springs think I ought to get the shocks too.

Dean, I have been looking at this company for awhile to coat my CAI, headers, etc. So if you have a hookup or a cheaper price let us know. Otherwise I may go and try to do a groupbuy on it.

Hope to hear from you!

How much would it be to ship springs and sways to Toronto Canada... (Price + Shipping).

Also any idea of what customs/duty might be?

Will it be any different if I buy 2 of each ! I might try a buddy of mine to get them as well. Its hard finding COMPTECH stuff in TO.

TLS RULZ,

Let me see what I can do for you on that, I will have something tomorrow morning.

As far as the custom/duty charges, I have no idea about that. The only part of sending things to Canada that I am sure about is that it needs to be marked as a "gift".

Thanks

I hear mixed reviews on the CT headers. Some folks tell me that you lose HP on the low end and only really gain a few HP on the high end. Does anyone have a true dyno of just the headers, other than the one on the CT site?

Well

I think you should look around and talk to a few people ... but the headers are a true + in my page of mods..30 HP. Shawn S. is headed to the Dyno in a few weeks, and I am headed to Keystone race way tonight to see what i can run in the quarter mile.. so we shall see... but I will tell you now, it is worth the money spent..

Smitty

PM Deansbluesi and he will tell you all about them..

Thanks Smitty. I wanted to do a bit of research before I spend the grand + install fees. I live in the Bay Area, CA and I'm stuck in alot of traffic so I don't know if it would be worth my $$$ to get them since most of the HP gains are on the higher end. We shall see though as I'm really itchin' for more POWER...but then again, who isn't?

Dean,

When you get a chance, shoot me an email with pricing on the headers and installation, and what kind of time frame we could arrange to have them put on... thanks.

To all you other guys looking for a shop to get things done...

I have personally been to Velocity Resources and had them install a set of Comptech Springs on my '01, and based on that experience, am definitely planning on going back soon to have other work done!

Not only is the shop impressive, but as a source of knowledge on mods to ours, as well as other cars, its awesome. I paid a fair price for the work, it was done on time, and they made it clear to me that if I had any problems to give them a call. Well, I have had no problems whatsoever, the car is definitely awesome and I giggle a little bit every time I drive it.

I would highly recommend anyone in Florida that wants a pro install at a fair price to visit beautiful Apopka, FL and take advantage of their service...
