CL Type-S Spoiler (black)
Looking to buy either a trunk and spoiler combo or just the spoiler with all mounting hardware and wiring intact for a 2003 CL Type-S. Not interested in any color except black. PM me or reply to this thread if youre interested in selling. Thanks.

show me what it looks like and we'll go from there. I am already talking to someone else about buying theirs so would need to see the condition of yours to determine if i want it.

Heres the wing
$40 is what I want for this wing minor clearcoat failure as shown in the 2nd pic...
...i had the clearcoat gone from my trunk roof and spoiler on my daily driver and for 50 bucks of carbon fiber vinyl overlay I made it look nice as shown in photo 3. The gloss black they sell matches the car however if u want a match and decide to go that path.....then would it matter what color the wing is?.....nope however a black would be easier.....i vinyld only the top and sides and you cant tell...red..NO
Up close of the clearcoat failure
What I opted to do until I paint the car.
This is the before of my car....cant see it good but clearcoat looked real bad.

Im getti8ng my bumpers repainted with oem nighthawk black pearl. I still have my wing for 40 bucks plus shipping but I'll have it professionally sprayed if you want. How much would you be willing to pay assumming I make it look new again?

Professional quality
Where will you have it resprayed? Will it be a perfect match to the OEM black? I mean I do, I want the spoiler to be show quality.
Does it include all of the oem mounting hardware and wiring, in good condition?

My buddy has his own shop - that is where, but he does good work or I wouldnt be having him respray my bumpers.....and yes im using the correct paint for a like new finish. You seem very picky so ill just post pics when its done instead of talking about how the work will look. If u like then we can go from there.

I have a trunk and spoiler. Im 90% sure I have the wiring. Trunk and spoiler are not mint. Paint is not the greatest and there is one very small indent (no chipping). 3.2CL Type-S badging was stolen so i polished it up best I could. Im located on Long Island, NY

FWIW: Since your having considerable difficult finding exactly what you want here on the forum, you may want to consider sites such as, car-part.com. There, you can buy an oem spoiler for $40.00 plus shipping, than take it to a competent body shop and have it painted.

Is that a true OEM piece or OEM-style? My understanding is that the black OEM 01-03 CLS spoiler is out of stock and discontinued.

Car-part.com has an undamaged OEM spoiler, what appears to be pristine silver one, located 13 miles from zip 92359 for $100.13 .
QwickParts Auto Salvage; Stock # 02189; San-Bernadino; 1-909-889-0206. Check out the link below and tell me that one does not look gooooooood!

With a 'lick' of black paint from a local body shop, you could be done with your almost 7 month search.

You mean to tell me that there are no 'high end' paint/body shops in San-Bernadino California, of all places, that can't take the Black color code, off the door jam of your car, and get a PPG spray match that will satisfy your '...somewhat of a perfectionist...' standard?
Sorry, that is very hard to believe and unreasonable. Good luck finding your, new out of the box quality/finish, 15 year old OEM spoiler.

Also, your paint on the car will be faded more or less than the black spoiler you find. Two different cars of the same color will never really be the same color with different sunlight and weather exposure. Something else to consider. And hey if the body shop does it wrong, they need to redo it for you.
