As said, closing the thread did not affect the pictures. They don't show because you must have removed or altered the photobucket links.

Guys, let's quit making this a pissing contest. I opened the thread so the two people could discuss this and get pertinent comments.

I finally decided this was a lot easier than me fielding PM's from both people and trying to get them together, especially when I have three (3) threads going here at the same time for buyer complaints.

What we don't need is outside comments, things having nothing to do with the thread, or people making decisions before all the facts are known.

Ron A if you want to close this thread you can since paypal has decided to refund my money. I will be going this afternoon to ship this thing back and they are going to release funds once it reaches rush. Thanks everybody for your comments good or bad. It's a shame we have to worry about stuff like this on a forum that has helped me with so much with my car. There are a lot of good guys on here who have taken the time to answer my questions and I've purchased and sold probably 15 items on this site and never once had a problem.

Since he has never sold anything else, which would help verify his reliability, I will have to make some kind of decision soon on his ability to post further sales.

Ron I have sold numerous parts on this site I can even say this where I buy & sell parts from before any orther sites. I don't know why he made it a big deal when he still had to go through the same process of sending the me the clutch before receiving he's $$ some people just like negatinty I just don't surround myself with that

You should t be posting some random google pic to show what condition "your" clutch is in. Learn how to sell things honestly. Doesn't look like you'll be selling on acurazine anymore.

You may have sold numerous parts here, but only a very few are reflected in your threads so it's difficult for me to use that as a way to determine the quality of your sales.

In a case like this, where the seller says he sent the item in perfect brand new condition, and which I have no reason to disbelieve him, and the buyer says he received it in the stated damaged condition, and again I have no reason to disbelieve him, I just have to call it a draw, chalk it up to experience, and hope it doesn't happen again to either of the parties involved.

I'll leave the thread open a little longer so you can comment on the condition of the returned clutch.

rush's responses don't strike me as someone that was trying to pull the wool over someone's eyes. I mean, based on the pictures maybe the packaging was lackluster and the clutch probably sat on a porch somewhere for a while until he decided to sell. But scam artists usually just disappear once they've been called out and rush has seemed very willing to work this out.

I wish both involved luck with resolution!

yup...

maybe rush should have stated that before when he first sold it.....maybe a good idea. you wouldnt take pictures off google of some wheels you are selling just because they are the same wheels when you need to show condition of your item for sale.

update on shipping....for whatever reason usps hit a delay and its still in route to DE. They said just keep checking for updates every 12 hours and that the latest it would be delivered is ten days which would make it 8-20 at the latest date

Oh dude...I TOTALLY wasn't siding with him. I completely agree with you returning it and wouldn't dig the whole "selling something using stock photos" of it. I just hope for resolution and am glad he seems willing to play ball.
