bRAND nEW 99TL trans! NO MILES ON IT!
What i have here is a brand new, acura replaced (not rebuilt) 1999 acura TL automatic transmission.
I am currently working on a 6 speed swap so i decided to sell the trans they are putting in my car (yes, thats right, its not even on my car yet) for 1400 OBO shipped to your door or 1200 OBO picked up.
once again, this thing has NO miles on it
its way cheaper than any rebuilt and ill even provide you with the paperwork from the acura dealership stating that its new.
if you have any questions please ask
i take paypal and check or money order.
paypal is prefferred for your safety and mine
send payment to miguellemillo22@gmail.com

wait... how is this going to work??? acura is replacing your tranny, but since you are working on your 6MT swap, you will just take it back out of the car and complete your swap??? or did you somehow tell Acura to keep the tranny on the crate and just give it to you???
if it goes on the car first, it will have some miles on it... unless you plan on towing the car home from acura without the tech test driving it after installation... not trying to be a d!ck here, just trying to cover other members that may be interested...

if i got a honda technician to do this for me (off the clock) would it be a worth it? i mean, is the new tranny typically difficult to put in? if i'm going to face more problems down the road cause this is a complicated replacement, i guess i should save for the dealership (if they offer do come down to $2200). no offense phee, i will buy this from you if it's not a problematic fix...i won't have any warranty or anything, and it looks like the whole thing (if I buy from you) will end up costing me over $1500. just need feel out that once it's put in, if i should expect issues.

i don't doubt phee, nor the reliability of a new transmission from acura (these ones haven't failed so far right?). just worried about whether there are any installation issues i should know about...thanks for understanding phee!

i understand completelty. replacing a transmission is basically a uninstall, re-install. they pull the old one out. put the new one in. simple as that. its just a timely install because of all the work they have to do to get to the transmission.
only suggestiong i have is to buy my transmission and a rear main seal (about 15 dollar gasket) and replace it while the transmission is out. the main seal is more like a maintenance deal than a repair. it will prevent your car from leaking motor oil in the future.
so if you buy the trans from me and i have to ship it to texas we can work out a deal. pm me if you have ANY questions or you can text me at 404-583-5904.
this goes for any other potential buyers.
ps. I STILL HAVENT DRIVEN MY CAR. keepin the trans new
as for the trans failing. they do fail. just not as frequently as the 5-speeds.

bump for a great seller - i've seen the new tranny in person and phee's car has not moved since he brought it home last week. install was done by the same dealer that did mine and i've had ZERO problems since.
this is a GREAT deal for you 99'ers in need of a tranny and out of the warranty period. if i had a 99, i'd buy it and store it in my garage until the rainy days come.

here is another endorsement for my good friend Phee. he's a real good guy and someone I personally trust...he has really helped a lot of us in the ATL Azine crew.. this is a helluva deal and it is 100% legit so no worries.
tell your Accord buddies about this rare opportunity to get a nice upgrade!! and of course any TL owners in need of a tranny!

Im in need of a new transmission. Im a student in Toronto Ontario and got my license suspended, yeah man the new over 50km law sucks ass.
Anyways can you give me couple of days, Ill talk to my brother and see if he can help me out. (Im sure he will he paid 7grand for this car for me) But can you tell me how much the shipping cost will be?
Im in a great need of a new Tranny because this one is busted up. It wont even shift. Anyways save it for me, Ill update you tomorrow. Hes away on business Ill give him a call and see.
Thanks,
Chanh
EDIT: this tranny should last me a good 200k if I dont abuse it right? And I heard about ppl doing the 6spd conversion. How much would that cost? Around 5K-6K?

the 99tl 4spd trans are really good, the new design 5spd trans had the problems. i have two buddies that have over 180k on the 4spds and they abuse it and its still going strong. 6spd swaps can cost anywhere from 3-5k depending on where u get the parts and who does the work. if this was a 5spd trans id pick it if for this price.
