honestly, i have never seen this eq used with a factory deck... maybe you can ask around the forum (maybe with streeteffectz) on where ou can place the eq in your car...
you can put the module anywhere in the car.. it's just a matter of where you want to put the display... (cupholders maybe?)
$230-$275 sounds really good...

you could hide the brain and find a place for the headunit.
that shouldn't be hard because it's very small in length.
