Alpine CD Changer and Blitzsafe adapter
The changer is an Alpine CHM-620. I've got the adapter so it can plug into your 99-01 head unit, and a cable long enough to reach into your trunk. I'll even trade my plastic trunk piece (pre-cut piece on driver's side of trunk) for your uncut piece. Also have two extra changer cartridges.
Asking price is $125 plus shipping for everything.
PM me if you are interested.

I have to swap out that plastic piece in the left side of the trunk with whoever winds up buying the changer. I'd send you my trunk piece with the changer already mounted

Yes. It will come with everything: (1) the changer pre-mounted in the plastic pocket that goes in the left side of your trunk; (2) a long cable that you will run from your trunk lining, along your doorsills, behind your pedals to your center console; (3) the Blitzsafe adapter that connects the cable to the aux input on your OEM head unit; and (4) a total of three CD cartridges.
The changer is powered off the head unit, so all you have to do is plug it in and it will work.
The changer plays CD-Rs. As long as they are burned properly, it will play them. I've never tried to play CD-RWs. Somehow I doubt those will work.
