i purchased a used AEM CAI that i dont need.

its silver in color, used condition, has the aem bypass valve, comes with everything needed for an install except one hose clamp (which can be used from your stock throttle body coupler)

the condition of it is in good shape, on a sclae of 1-10 (10 being brand new, and 1 being ugly and almost useless).....id give it an 8. (because the filter has 2 of the fins crushed a little, but no holes or anything)

so is this longer than the one made for CLS/TLS?

if so can it be custom fitted after cutting?

 

its longer, the pipe that comes off the throttle body is to long, and hits the firewall. the rest of the pipes and parts fit the same as the tl-s/cl-s cai parts...the only thing that has a problem fitting on the tl-s/cl-s is the pipe that connects to the throttle body.

i can easily be cut shorter to work.

The throttle body on the type-s is 3 inches so just cutting it shorter wont work. You would have to buy an expander or something to make it work, which IMO, isn't worth it
