wow very good price!! sucks that u have to do some custom bolts and drilling. Definitely, want this to be secured on the trunk because for one its much heavier than the base decklid, so regular 3m will not last and its a pretty high demand, dont want someone just coming to ur car and pry it off with ease.

Don't the oem have bolt on the spoiler so if I buy it I pretty sure I have to drill hole the trunk anyway.

 

Yes the oem one comes drilled but that is done by the factory an they can properly seal the holes so no water enters into your trunk. You do not have to drill it in to install it. I did not and have had 2 of them. Most body shops have really strong glue that works fine.

I would just use 3m tape. I'd rather have someone pry it off easily and take it than pry it off roughly and cause damage to the trunklid. Thats what I did with my base decklid spoiler; had the screws ground off and attached with tape.

As we've seen, bolts don't stop thieves!

dam my buddy just had a this exact thing stolen off his type s in new york a couple weeks ago and it was installed stock with screws.Insane people stole the spoiler and the front lip off his type s.

A lot better than tape.

 

Those bolts are weak, believe it or not a strong tape will hold a lot better than the OEM bolts, unless you JB weld in your own bolts.

 

I bought it on craigslist long time ago like 7 months that's other reason I want sell because I park the car outside and the people are stolen many parts from the cars and I don't want make holes in the trunk

 

yea man its nuts, his car was outside for like an hour and a half..and they got the front lip too, insane
