regarding the switch placement, i recall seeing someone who did a custom switch for his lights but when i was building mine, i couldn't find the example i saw. here's a picture of what i did for my halos:
literally stopped by my acura dealership to pick up extra dummy covers by the vsa switch (in case i messed up my stock one), went to radio shack to get an auto switch and put the 2 together. i'd assume that if you wanted 2 switches, you could build them both into the dummy cover or get a switch with more than 2 settings.
