hey folks... came to the realization that I could not find the 25th hour in the day to work on my car so I am getting rid of items that I know i will not be installing... also trying to fight my hoarder instincts

I mentioned in another FS that i will have an exhaust for sale so here it is... this has been sitting in my garage for over 18 months and I think it is time that it gets to see daylight and someone to enjoy it

What i have is the XLR8 resonated base exhaust...
I am listing it as used since it is over 18 months old but it has never been on a car.. kinda sad... it needs a owner who will get the most out of it

This exhaust needs a good home, a good owner who will drive it like they just stole the car and get the most out of the exhuast

no box to fit? Wrap that baby up in some bubble wrap and throw it on a greyhound bus for cheap.

 

I thought about greyhound, but that is worst case scenario... prefer local but if no sale in a few weeks then we will see

dude you could have a box made for that probably. it doesnt have to be huge. i actually found one at a shipping shop to ship mine.

I always lowed the tone of it on this video.
It's non-res but cutting the res is easy, plus it only gets loud. Tone stays the same I suppose.

I don't like the tips though

@Meko - I actually like the tip; I looked at the semi-oval one out there and just cutting back in the square one with a bigger drill out for the muffler... but after getting the exhaust the tip looks really good

I chose resonated just because of future and kids and neighbors and etc...

@Kingston, i will be in NYC area 2nd week of August and possibly mid September... also might be in Boston sometime in October

@Meko ... reason I am selling is cause I dont got time to install it.. so cant help you there.. but I can sit and drink a beer and watch if you want to... (oh i always got time to drink beer, just not manual labor stuff )

@allwhit.. thanks for the bump man... what wheels you looking for? I just took my RPF1s off and will be selling them soon, somone asked about it a couple weeks ago but if that doesnt pan out maybe we can do a deal on exhaust and wheels combined

If you decide to ship it I would highly suggest to bubble wrap it and put it a box. I work at UPS and I see many exhausts come through, just saying it would be easy to ship but just make sure you its covered up well. I'd love to buy your exhaust but im all the way in KY

 

Man I want to say that that if these are only 18 months old they should be the updated mufflers. Wanna trade something for this exhaust?

 

@Twig, i had them for 18 months but the person before had them as well from the original buy.. sat in their garage too... I feel bad for the exhaust since neither one of us used it


to confirm for everyone, I beleive this is a V1 exhaust version that has the original mufflers from the first build... someone can correct me if I am wrong but the main difference is that the V1 sounds louder than the V2

as for trades... I don't know... looking for a good meth kit.. i would say wheels but I am very specific on what I would want.. would take a JL 900/5 or 700/5 amp .. racing seats with brackets

 

Where in wilmington do you work? I actually live in wilmington now. Used to live in Philly and work in wilmington...

 

I work right at 202 and 141, about 1 mile away from 202 and 95... havent hung out in Wilimnton for awhile, it is different from Philly

I will be in NYC area August 10th weekend.. willing to drive 1 hour (traffic included!!!!!) from NYC... Long island might be a question mark though since I always get very screwed in LI traffic.. but time and day is key on that one

@Anil, ya it is.. but my fault for letting it sit in my garage... however.. if I still got this in September I might just put it on.. annoying part is then I gotta sell my stock!!! I cant win in cleaning out my garage.. and I need room to put my fall chopper purchase in the garage
