3G headlights for TL 2004-2008 I bought these in 2009 and never put them in my TL. I can not remember much information about these. I believe these came from Canada. Please verify that this will work with your TL. The part number on the box when i got them is 33101-sep-h11. I am located north of Atlanta GA. I could meet a buyer or ship them on your behalf if needed (insurance included). I can add more pictures if needed.
We advise all prospective buyers (or sellers) to be aware that this is either a new member, one with less than 50 posts, or both, so please proceed accordingly and with caution.
This in no way reflects on the integrity of the buyer or seller. It is a standard notice we put in for these members buying or selling items of substantial value.
SHIPPING ADVISORY
If shipping is required, sellers are encouraged to use tracking numbers or delivery confirmation.
Buyers should request this even if it costs a few dollars more to ship. This is to protect both the seller and the buyer.
^^well the only 3g that came with the semi-orange reflector was the 07-08 type s/ but the Type-s has the "dual ring" and these don't.....all the base model TL's have the full orange along the side.
Not really sure what these are from lol, they look to have been modified too as they have a black housing. The only 3g to come stock with black housing was the 07-08 type-s
1. They're unmodded. The seal looks almost OEM tight, with no visible butyl or sealant marks.
They looks exactly like CDM headlights.
Looking at the "blacked out" portion of the headlight, it appears to be the same "blu-ish/purplish black" chrome paint that acura uses on the Type-S (opposed to the usual High Gloss Black most people use when blacking out). I'm willing to bet it's this option.
2. They have been modded and the internal is blacked out with Type-S diffuser.
Whoever modded them must be a legend and got it back to OEM tight without using leaving any trace of sealant behind. Whoever modded them knew exactly what kind of black chrome paint Acura uses.
Killer deal, regardless!

Here are some more pictures of CDM TLs, with of course CDM headlights.
I can tell you that the one the OP is selling is not from Canada, because you can see the fog light bulb cover, and Canadian TL headlights don't have that since we have DRL.
The pictures below you can see the fog light covers. Again, Canadian TLs don't have them.
Just leaving facts, you guys be the judge. CDM headlights are rare, and the OP having his hands on them for over 5 years makes sense.
In the end, they could just be american TL headlights modded with Type-S diffusers and blacked out internals.
You can see the bluish-black chrome that looks exactly the same as OP's.
This black chrome finish is hard to reproduce. Again, most people who mod just use gloss black. No gloss black chrome.
Here's a "modded" headlight by JnC with the "CDM" look.
Looks identical to the OPs, except notice the blacked out part is gloss black, but not chrome gloss black.

I knew it from the beginning
No one can perfectly replicate the black chrome Acura has.
Us headlight "modders" have to use high gloss black.
Rare CDM headlights, someone buy them!
Trplezero sorry for cluttering your thread with facts. Just trying to help you and interested buyers!
If only our currency was better I'd jump on them.

These are CDM (Chinese domestic market) headlights.
A few years ago an ebay seller got a boat load of these and started selling them on ebay. The reason why they got a boat load is because the lights were replaced under warranty/recall.
USDM headlights have one bracket inside the headlight to hold the projector with integrated reflector for foglight/DRL. This bracket is made out heat resistant ceramic material and is plenty sturdy.
Under the Chinese DOT laws the fog light and low beam should be independently adjustable, these headlights have separate fog light reflector and bracket for the low/hi beam HID projector. Hence is why you see three adjustment knobs in the back. Two for the HID projector for horizontal and vertical adjustment and one knob for the fog light, only to adjust vertical aim.
The reason for recall was the poor structural integrity of the bracket that holds the HID projector. This bracket in CDM headlights is made out plastic and if you were to hit a pothole hard it cracks around pivot point for vertical adjustments inside the headlights. This in turn would drop the projectors aim all the way down making it impossible to raise/adjust it.
The seller started selling these lights for as little as $150 and back in the day when people got the wind of it they started jumping on the deal, within a week or so the price went to $300 and then later to $500.
These are OEM headlights.
These would require extra parts to fit 06 TLs and extra ballasts, along with parts, to fit the 04-05 TL headlights.
The cut off is DOT slope but the cut off shield is slightly different.
The turn signal socket is different as well, lights will not take OEM 7443 base TL or OEM 1157 Type S sockets.
They do have city light opening towards the bottom side of the fog light reflector.
You'd also need back covers from 02-03 TL headlights as 04-08 TL headlight covers dont fit these headlights.
The ballast opening is for 06-08 TL HID ballasts, bigger 04-05 TL ballasts do not fit the ballast opening on these lights.
