2003-2007 Graphite Pearl Honda Accord Hood

Category: Accessories
Price: $100
Private or Vendor Listing: Private Listing
Part Fits (you may select multiples): Other Honda/Acura
Location (State/Prov/Terr): FL
Item Condition: Used

I have for sale the hood of my old 2004 Graphite Pearl Honda Accord sedan. It was taken off back in 2005 because I bought my carbon fiber hood. It's been safely in my garage ever since.

I recently took it out to wash, clay, polish, and wax it to prep it for sale.

I am selling it because I no longer have my Accord.

Price is $100.00 picked up FIRM. A person who was going to buy this recently was quoted $150 to have this item shipped to them in NC from FL. It may be cheaper where you are. Obviously the best option would be to pick this up in person. If you want me to ship this, it will be $270 shipped.

On to the pictures!

There is a small 6" long scratch/indentation about 10" from the right side as you're facing the front of the hood. The OCD people might object to it, but I have only been able to notice the scratch/indentation in certain lights. The indentation is about 4 pieces of paper below the surrounding surface.

There are also about 17 small stone chips on the hood (to those OCD folks) that can easily be fixed with Langka or other chip paint.

This hood might fit a 2006-2007 Honda Accord Sedan, but it will be up to the buyer to confirm this.

Once again, the price is $100 picked up. FIRM (the condition of the hood reflects the price).

Jacksonville, about 3 hours away from you.

This would be a great replacement for her.

Maybe I will, but I hate having to go through the pain of registering and then typing up 15 posts to sell something.

Is this still available? I tried to PM you, but since I signed up just so I could inquire about this, I'm not allowed to do that for 15 days!

Eizik, I cannot reply to your PM because you have to clear space in your inbox. The price is $250 shipped, or until I get a more accurate quote from UPS to ship this bad boy, I'll hold on to it for you.

Yes, it's still for sale. It's in my garage, and it's a good thing you contacted me when you did because I'm close to taking it to a junk yard to have them buy it. The price will be $250 shipped. I have to somehow get it to the nearest UPS shipping facility to ship it in my TL. I believe shipping it will be about $150, but you just never know unless I actually take it there to have them weigh it, etc. So what I can do is hold on to it for you, and, on Monday, take it to the UPS store to get an accurate quote to ship it. Would that be amenable to you? And do you know that there is a very slight scratch and indentation on the hood, right, as you can see from the pictures.

Jim

Fantastic! Since I'm a new member, I was only allowed 1 PM in my inbox, which was filled with a system generated welcome message - it should be cleared now, but I'm still not allowed to PM out.

Since I can't PM, would you be ok taking this conversation off-forum? If you shoot me a note in a reply to this Craigslist post, I can reply from my personal email account (rather than me just posting my email here for every spam bot in the world to find) - http://minneapolis.craigslist.org/hn...685316573.html

Besides that, the price is perfect (pending the shipping quote) and yes I am aware of the scratch and slight indentation - but thank you for making sure! It'll be 100% better than my current hood, which has a 6 inch long crease/dent on the front and a 2 inch rust bubble, or the crazy quote from my local body shop to fix it.

We can talk payment, etc. once we're able to message directly.

Thanks a ton and sorry for the hassle!

...and of course it didn't come through. I sent a test message myself and it came through fine, but not yours. Figures!

Shoot me a note at ikejohnson at gmail and hopefully we can get connected finally! Sorry again for the comedy of errors here.

Hood is very big and the shipping cost is substantial. Buyer will pay about $200 in shipping costs to box and ship this bad boy.

Bump.
