20" RJ Legend II-Custom Powdercoated....again

Well this is the 2nd time I'm posting my beloved wheels for sale in the BM. I decided to end the sale last time and keep them, but I'm struggling on funds right now. I quit my bullshit job of over 4 years and I'm starting to miss the income that it gave me even though I hated the people I worked with. On top of needing the money, I kind of want to have my car to have a different theme. Kind of a "down and out" thing. Slammed on stockies with the A-Spec kit and stuff like that, not big flashy wheels like I have now even though I do love them.

Anybody in the Raleigh, NC area and I guess anybody on here can check out this posting on CraigsList at this link: http://raleigh.craigslist.org/pts/1198510548.html

This is pretty much copied over from the CraigsList posting and my last post here on the BM.

RJ Legend II
Liquid Graphite Custom Powdercoat with clear
20" x 8.5"
3" lip
5 x 114.3
40mm offset
64.1 centerbore

This set of wheels comes with a set of 245/35/20 Yokohama S-Line tires with about 50% tread life left.

3 out of the 4 wheels are flawless and I will be posting individual pictures of the wheels within the next few days. The 4th wheels does have some curb rash that has taken off the powdercoating and the bare metal is showing. I have been told that it is an easy fix, but due to low funds, I have opted to leave them alone. I will have a picture posted soon incase there is any concern of how big the curb rash is. Many AZ members have seen my wheels in person and will vouch on the condition of these wheels. chill_dog said back in March when I originally posted the wheels for sale: "Saw these wheels a couple of days ago...they look great and are in great shape." I take great pride in my car, therefore I don't let anything get dirty and I don't do anything stupid with the things I buy for my car.

Keep in mind these wheels WILL NOT FIT OVER THE 6-SPEED BREMBOS and there is no exact color code for the wheels because it was a custom color mixed. I have a feeling this color is somewhat close to the color used on the 3G TL-S wheels, but not a perfect match.

I honestly don't know the offsets for different cars and if these wheels will fit this car or that car, but with the specs I've listed, hopefully anybody who's interested can figure it out for themselves. I've been told these wheels will fit a 2009 TSX and a 2008 Accord, but I'm sure there are more.

I'm asking $2500 OBO for the wheel/tire combo. The price is negotiable but don't low ball me like hell...I am an honest college student that pays for everything I have and I'm just low on funds. The buyer will have to pay the 3% charge on PayPal if they choose to do that. I will gladly accept a cashiers check/certified check from a bank as well, but the buyer will have to wait until it clears my bank. My dad was a victim of credit card fraud and his identity was stolen a few years back and I can't afford to have the same happen to me, so I am very cautious when it comes to money transactions. As for shipping, I have no idea how much it's would cost to send these suckers, but I'll find out if somebody is seriously considering the purchase. Right now I am NOT willing to part out the wheels and tires, I would ideally like to keep them as a set, but time will tell.

These wheels/tires are currently mounted on my car, but they will be taken off by the end of the month (if not bought before then). I drive between 10 and 20 miles a day, so tire wear may change by the time of purchase. Tire wear will be very minimal because I'm not one to squeal around a corner or try to burn rubber from a stop.

I don't want to sound like a stingy ass with all of these "conditions" either. I just want to get everything out in the open so I don't get PMs with the same question over and over. If anybody has any questions, please let me know. I'll be more than glad to help out as much as I possibly can .

Onto the pictures:

I tried to supply as many pictures as I could to show how the wheels look with different lighting and at different angles. As mentioned before, I will be posting pictures individually for each wheel and tire within the next few days.

Thank you both very much.

Jason how did you figure out how much shipping would be for your wheels? I need to figure that out incase anybody asks.

Taken on 6/6/09

I noticed while taking these pictures today that on my front drivers side wheel, some of the powdercoating has been scraped off. I didn't notice it two days ago, so it must have happened between then and this evening. I honestly have no idea how it happened. Oh and as you can see, I forgot to take off the cover on my center caps . All 4 still have the covers on them. Here's a pic for reference:

I'm ready to sell these wheels ASAP, so shoot me any reasonable offers

Thanks man . They aren't nearly as nice as anything you have put on your car, but I try.

I've been thinking about keeping them. After too long, I'll probably just keep them. If I do that, I want to be slammed and get new tires, so we shall see.

Haha I'm tryin! I've applied a shit ton of places. All of the kids that are home from college are filling up the positions. Hopefully within the next month everybody will dip back to school and I can get a job. I need my cash money.

As much as I want these wheels gone, I can't go that low. I haven't even had them a year. $1500 + shipping is the bottom shelf unless there is some sort of amazing trade that I can't pass up.

They will not fit an 05 RL. These wheels are 5X114.3, and the RL uses wheels with a 5X120, plus the studs are bigger on an RL.

These wheels can be converted from 114.3 to 120mm. I have a set of Liquid Silvers on my MDX which were converted by Rons machinist.

The wheels and tires are still for sale. Bump.

Wow $1,500 for those babies....someone is gonna get a helluva deal. I saw these last year at our NC Azine Mega meet and they were sexy as hell. 20"RJ's + $1,500 + custom color = really good deal.

^Thanks man

If I could afford suspension and slam it with these babies on my car, I would in a heartbeat, but I can't. I'm happy with my gunmetal A-Specs so these have got to go. I quit my job back in April so my income is minimal. I priced them a little lower than I want just to see if they would go and unfortunately they haven't yet.

I need these suckers gone! PM me people!

Bump.

And just to say this again, these will NOT fit over the Brembos on the 6-speed TL and they will not clear the caliper on the RL, even if you get an adapter to switch the bolt pattern. I've had a few bites, but both didn't work out because one of those situations.

Will somebody enlighten me on why I just can't sell these? I know most people aren't a huge fan of 20's, but is the price unreasonable? They will just be a year old next month and I've had them off of my car for 3 months now.

Personally, I would think they would, but I can't guarantee that. The only thing I can see that may be a problem is the tire rubbing the fender. A tire with a smaller tire wall may need to be used or getting your fenders rolled would be needed in that situation.

How far are you from the NC/SC border? I would be more than willing to bring one wheel/tire, meet you there, and test fit it to make sure there are no problems.
