Just got four new tires. Want them outta the garage. One's got a plug. Both otherwise operate great. Can't decipher tread depth but I used a quarter.

It looks like the plug is in the sidewall. If it is, then from what I know it is exremely dangerous because sidewalls flex and shouldn't be patched or plugged.

Sidewall? It's in the middle of the tire. My mechanic wouldn't have plugged it if it was dangerous.
