19" Ron Jon Legend in Liquid Silver finish NYC

Category: Wheels & Tires
Price: $840
Private or Vendor Listing: Private Listing
Part Fits (you may select multiples): Other Honda/Acura
Location (State/Prov/Terr): NY
Item Condition: New

I'm selling a set of 19" Ron Jon rims in Liquid Silver finish that I've had on my car since September 2009. They are 5x114.3 offset, 8" width and +32 offset. I bought them from a fellow member (JNC) and drove on them until March 2010, when I replaced them with another set of RJ Liquid silver rims (I love the design). They will fit most Honda and Acura vehicles. (They will not fit 2005+ RL)

Since September they have incurred 6 months of NYC driving and parking. All 4 of the rims have varied levels of curb rash on them. 2 of the wheels may be slightly bent. Before I replaced them I experienced slight vibration from the wheels on non perfect roads. This may have been due to my car needing a wheel alignment, which was done after I replaced the rims with my current set.

My original plan was to get them fixed and powder coated. I contacted "Wheels of America" and got a quote for $100-$135 to powder coat and fix each rim.

These rims sell for $1380 for a set new from RJ. Due to current condition of each rim, I will sell them for $840.

price is OBO but no low ballers please

I am selling just the rims, the center caps are not included.

I prefer local sale so that the condition of the rims could be verified before the transaction.

I've taken many pictures to reflect the current condition, but I will try to accommodate any requests for additional pictures.

These rims are ready to be mounted right away.

All 4 Rims are currently in boxes

All 4 Rims together from the back

Rim # 1

Rim # 2

Rim # 3

Rim # 4

good thing we put the rim lip to protect the spokes, lol. Looks like an easy fix really, a machine ship can laithe the rim edge and clean it up for cheap.

Thanks Ron for making a quality product - too bad NY roads are in horrible condition

already, but I did get another set of the same rims - I love the design and the fact that they're made specially for Hondas and Acuras.

Food for thought, just a comment. All 4 have curb rash and 2 may be bent, and at about $100 a wheel to fix ($400), plus the asking price of the wheels $750, plus shipping, that price is certainly close to a brand new set.

I was thinking the samething. If they were my wheels I would sell them for about $400.

These are ready to be driven on now. $400 or around there for a set of RJ Legends is too low. Like I said before if it costs 450 or even 500 to fix them up that is still nowhere close to a new set, which runs $1300

These are perfect for someone who would powdercoat the rims in custom color anyway.

With that said and since I need them gone, I will drop the price to $650

I think this would be a perfect opportunity to get them refinished in black then have a red stripe painted on the outside of the wheel like the GT style that RJ offers. I wanted the ones that RJ sells but they weren't 19 inches.

I'll consider them sold and close the thread.

You can send a PM if you think there's a chance they aren't.
