07-08 TL Type S blacked out headlights (Free)
Up for trade is a set of 07-08 (3G) TL Type S headlights that have been blacked out and cleared (amber defuser) taken out. I got this set from LTxArucAx60 a few weeks ago and he had bought it from KB1Spec, following is the link to the original set.

Condition
Driver side headlight
Front lens: 10/10, near BNIB condition
Tabs: 10/10, all tabs are present
Over all condition: 9/10, no evident blemishes in and out.
Passenger side headlight:
Front lens: 9/10
Tabs: 8/10, one tab is broken, one that is located towards the underside of the headlight.
Over all condition: 6/10, headlight had two hair line cracks towards the corner and underside. Both the cracks have been mended and both headlights will come with a 1 year warranty against leakage/fogging.
Headlights were originally owned by KB1Spec and he blacked them out, when I received them I redid them i.e. cleared and repainted everything black. The turn signals are partially blacked out as you can see in the following pictures. I mended the two above mentioned cracks and also replaced the cracked turn signal.
Terms of the trade
I normally charge $150 to clear/black out headlights but due to the above mentioned blemishes in the passenger side headlight I am willing to waive the fee. All I ask from the potential trader is to take care of shipping fees I'd endure to ship the headlight to him/her. Headlights will come with two custom made foam washers that you would use to replace your current foam washer around the ballast. Washers will insure a proper leak free seal.
Again, to rid any ambiguity, this is a straight up trade, pictured blacked out/cleared headlights for your OEM type S headlights + you will take care of shipping charges that I would endure, usually $25~40.
Notice the whole bezel has been painted glossy black to match the glossy black OEM shroud.
Partially blacked out turn signal, I used glossy black paint as mentioned earlier.
First mended crack, I have used two different sorts of plastic epoxy + threaded webbing for extra strength covered it all with some silicone.

No, check the link provided in my first post to KB1's thread. It shows pictures of the headlights on KB1's car. The headlights are in different condition now since they dont have the defuser in them and the turn signals are partially blacked out.
This how they will look like installed
Pictures are TSXinity's TLs, this is a set I did for him a few months ago.

Are these lights still available? If so I might be interested in them. Also in another thread you mentioned the v.2 lights? Care to explain? Also any chance you could do the ZK lenses and the Halos or are they already done?

V2 means that the turn signal is partially painted and some of the reflective chrome is left in tact rather than painted black. Here are some pictures of a set I did for for Msala, the only difference is that they have the red halos installed and some carbon fiber towards the corner.
The ones that I have for trade are simply cleared and blacked out.

Thank you for the update and the pics. Just to clairify, the ones you are wanting to trade, they already have the halos correct? If so I am assuming they are just clear halos or what? Also do they have the ZKW lens on them as well? Or no?
I guess I should say I am looking for a set of cleared lights with the Halos installed, either with the clear/white light around it, or if possible a blue look to it. I would also like to have the lens on them as well. Just want to make sure what it is you have exactly. Thanks.

As the above poster stated, these are just blacked out and do not have halos or the replica lenses installed.
Well they do come with a guarantee along with that the blemishes are not visible once installed.
