Used Car Disclosure
I just bought a used car from a dealer in Brampton. On paper the car is super clean, no accidents. The salesperson repeatedly assured me the car has no accidents. However when I brought it home yesterday I noticed one of the side skirt was replaced. I must not have seen it during my original inspection. According to the Motor Vehicle Dealers Act seems like dealers may only be required to disclose damages greater than $3000, or if two or more adjacent panels were replaced. Does anyone know if dealers are required by Ontario law to disclose all known damages and repairs to any potential buyer?
