A woodpecker was on our neighbors tree. So my wife took a picture of it.

The woodpecker flew up to a branch and then another woodpecker came and mated with it. What are the odds you catch a woodpecker mating.

Love is in the air:

All of those shots are fantastic! I especially like the Cooper's Hawk. I can never get a good picture of the one that occasionally hangs out in our backyard.

Thanks. Most of our Gold Finches wintered here.

I kept the feeders full all winter long.

Real nice Dan. Love the shot of the Robins! I've never seen a Scarlet Tanager before. I have Pileated Woodpeckers in the area but cannot entice them into the yard. My Bluebirds are at the feeders everyday but did not nest in my boxes this year. Still waiting for the Hummingbirds to show up.

I did see my first Indigo Bunting this past weekend. Caught him under the feeders.

Thanks, Ken. Cool pic of the indigo bunting -- I haven't seen one around here for years.

The robins stopped by to take a bath in our waterfall stream during the brief thaw we had near the end of January. The stream was completely ice covered for much of the winter. The hummers are back, at least ours are. They showed up last week, a bit earlier than I expected. They came to the feeder even before I had filled it.

Tanagers and buntings!! Such eye candy! I love them. We have scarlet tanagers in our woods in the summer, but I've never seen an indigo bunting here. I wish.

And the turkey - nice! We have wild turkeys, but I never see them strutting like that.
