Toy Photography
Over the last year I've been getting more in to toy photography, which has become a fairly popular sub-genre. I havent been able to do as much as I want because its very time intensive in terms of dioramas, occasional photoshop, etc. I did manage to do my most recent 3 last week (Mummy, Elvira/mummy, and Rock Vader). It presents a little more of a challenge working on a smaller scale and sometimes with shiny textures (that should be matte in real life).
Either way, Its a fun little way to pass some time, and make use of my vast collection of figures. https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/acurazi...4a42c37349.jpg https://cimg9.ibsrv.net/gimg/acurazi...41e896a8fb.jpg https://cimg1.ibsrv.net/gimg/acurazi...c89aa8e486.jpg https://cimg7.ibsrv.net/gimg/acurazi...d5df2f7f60.jpg https://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/acurazi...54f6055ce7.jpg https://cimg5.ibsrv.net/gimg/acurazi...3969368942.jpg https://cimg9.ibsrv.net/gimg/acurazi...b3f56353d1.jpg https://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/acurazi...dfb7459f5b.jpg https://cimg1.ibsrv.net/gimg/acurazi...bef54e4578.jpg https://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/acurazi...b3aab3a490.jpg |
Nice! I love toy photography. Sgt. Slaughter vs. Cobra

Notwithstanding my dislike of that film, it's a cool photo. How'd you get that background shot?

Thank you, I found a stock photo of a Birds Eye view of the street. Took some Birds Eye shots of some civilian figures “walking” and composited everything (but my photoshop skills need a lot of work).

Appreciate it. If I had a large enough printer to do it. I would have. Sometimes I use my TV as a “video wall” and create effects that way. Which is nice because it keep everything “in camera”. The less photoshop work the better in my opinion.
