I like that Italiano. There is the beginning of a story to be told in that frame.

I found a cool article on Henri Cartier-Bresson who was a master at telling a story in a street scene and capturing that one perfect moment.

I'm curious to hear from you guys about this... but is there a range of focal length for "true" street photography? I mean, if someone "snipe'd" the picture from a distance with a 400mm lens... is that even considered "street photography"? Or just being creepy from a distance? I read somewhere that 35-50mm (in FF equ) is the focal length to use, what do you guys think?

^^ nice image 'Zouse, remember seeing the color version or something similar in the past (?)

Ken, I do think there is a difference there - I do think that if you are "sniping" people from far away, it's not classic street photography. One of the defining elements is the fact that the people you are shooting are cognizant of you doing so - Now keep in mind, you can still take a candid photo this way, because you can take one before they notice. But if you are shooting a zoom across from the way and they have no clue you are anywhere to be found, I think that is some other kind of photography. my 2 cents!
