I hate to steer you away from our glorious site, but I would like to just for the sake of your own creative vision, for a moment.

If you are curious about your "street photography", this is a great place to test it out.

They have a pretty open definition of street photography and that is good. But one thing is clear, the content, composition, and feel of the shot is paramount over anything else. If you post a photo that is average, it will get pretty much zero attention. If you post something noteworthy the attention will be clearly evident. That is a pretty nice thing. Give it a shot, if you are up for the challenge.

In case you're curious, I have posted several of my images there and pretty much all of them with the exception of one have been average. Even ones I thought were pretty good.

This is the one that was kind of a 'hit' for me, it had around 200 likes (the best way to judge it) and various comments. Others I posted went either unnoticed or maybe several likes. One had around 20-30 likes.

oh woops! I was wrong - the above pic was my 2nd favorite pic there - it only had 40 Likes.

This pic is the one that had 200 - as you can see it does not even have the 'classical' feelings of street photography.

I LOVE the "High Contrast B&W" setting in my NEX-5N (only in JPEG). These photos pretty much came out of the camera like this (very mild adjustments in LR5). Perfect for street photography

funny you should say that, today I am slashing the prices on all of my prints... I'm not selling enough at all so I figure why the hell not. I will have a link for you sometime soon, probably in a few days.

someone in a forum asked me to do some test shots with my Zeiss 135mm f1.8 with the NEX-5N using an A to E mount adapter, so I took some random shots in Downtown Vancouver today.

all shot in JPEG with little to no post (a couple photos needed CA removed)
