Steam Train

These were from a trip called "Steam In The Snow: Photographers Special"
The train made 5 stops on the return to allow us to get off, then it backed up and ran by us. 5 hours on the train was a bit much though. At least the runbys were worth it.

Pretty good time overall, but.....railfans are weird

thanks guys.

Dave, I had the idea in my head before I even left for this trip that I was going to process them in B&W....then accidentially shooting 3/4 of the day at 1600iso sealed that deal

Awesome pix!!! Coming from a railroading family and town those gave me goosebumps. Definately awesome in B&W!! Wouldn't have looked right in color since steamers are old school.

Nice pics. B&W for a steam train is timeless.
