I got an amazing deal on it, it pays to have friends that know nothing about photography
.
Its in excellent like brand new condition, he said it was right out of the box. Theres not a scratch on it, no dings etc, it's completely pristine. I've been wanting to get back into 35mm again, but I'm not sure what to do at the moment. I could probably get near $500 for it, and over a $100 for the lens thats on it now. I don't know if I should sell it and get a used VR lens for my D80 (and buy a cheaper 35mm SLR), or just keep it as a collectible and use it because its such a great piece of equipment.
Thoughts?

I'd Keep it. F bodys are great. F3 is definitely a solid camera.

You got a pretty good camera there, start running some film through it, not just regular film but b&w and Fuji high color. Are you sure it was a friend?
