Hi guys,

Costco is selling a package of Sanyo Eneloop battery and a charger for $30 buck.

Do you know know good the charger that comes with the package is?

I am using the charger that comes with my Sony W1. It is a semi-smart charger (the manual says it can only charge up to 2000mA battery) but it doesn't seem to fully charge my battery (even the battery is rated 2000mA).

And... What is your opinion on the Canon SX100? How can you tell the lens is "fast" or "slow"? Using my W1 is very challenging with my shaky hand because the lens is quite "slow" making the camera to always pick a slow shutter speed.

I've not heard anything bad about these. I'd take at look at some websites for price comparo.

SX100 not sure if it's out yet.

I picked up the package from Costco. But I have no idea whether or not the charger is a smart charger or it is a dumb charger.
