Yea, it's so small I can use it as a body cap

its also pretty sharp wide open. For the price I paid (about $100) it's a great lens

Sweet. I am doing a 5D4 review thread right now. It will be a work in progress just to discuss stuff about the camera.

The 24-70 arrived today, I can't be happier about it. It's packed in the original box even with original wrapping paper and styrofoam and everything, and item looks exactly as listed. Ebay FTW, this seller is gonna be getting a great review.

Really looking forward to using it. It is nice step up from my current set up.

Started with:
Canon AE1
Canon Rebel G
Canon XSI
Canon T3i
Canon 60d.

Next one will most likely be a 6D but an affordable 5D Markiii or iv is not out of the question in the future but for now am going to learn the 60d.

Had to stop by Tiffen to pick up some camera support equipment and they were have a big clearance sale. Picked up a Vari ND 3-8 for dirt cheap and a T1 IR Filter.

Not a fan of Vari Nd's, wide and ultra wide they suck. I had a Tiffen up to 10 stops Vnd a couple years ago. Used once I back it went. Had a cat eye effect.

So so I stick with single ND's.

I wanted an A7II but for $400 I thought the a6000 would be a good way to dip my toe in a Sony. It's better than the t5i in some ways but more of a lateral move overall. I think I want to get a 6D when I have the funds. The Sony's don't feel great in-hand. It feels best when it's on the tripod and I'm not touching it.

you can get adapter(s) and still use your Canon lenses

I just bought a speed booster adapter recently and I've been using my a6500 with the Canon 17mm tilt/shift and 17-40mm F4 L lenses with it. AF isn't great with the 17-40mm L but for what I do with it, it doesn't really matter (and the tilt/shift lens is manual focus anyways).

If your Canon lenses aren't full frame, then you'd just use a regular EF to E adapter (and NOT a speed booster adapter)

edit: I just noticed your post above that your Canon lenses are EF-S... so just ignore my comment about the speed booster
