Yeah me too. Think how funny it would be, if instead, he was on an airport tram heading toward his gate and security
So....by experimental, are we talking photo subjects or could it also mean post-processing?

Lately, I've been having fun in pp. Mainly converting w/ b&w,infrared, clarity, contrast and nr. It's a work in progress, as I'm having to learn having a darkroom on a computer, instead of in a dark room w/ enlarger and chemicals. I must admit this is more convenient, but I miss the smell of the chemicals Anyway, here are a few as examples:

Can you tell me how you do that? I'm trying to learn how to layer two pictures with different exposures together but having a hard time with it.

With photoshop anything is possible.
That particular one was supposed to be an HDR. Then I got it to look like that.
Scanning images and putting them together is also another way to go.

Jupiter, how about a heads-up next time
Damn near killed myself getting out of the way of that branch!
Interested in what process(es) you used for that effect, it's as though your wearing 3D glasses.

D, that was a 135f/2 and I think I also had a 25mm extension tube on it.
Thanks again everyone, I glad you guys like it. I didn't think I had anything with this one. My wife has to keep telling me that I do take good shots.

In PP I added a good deal of clarity and midtone contrast, a lot of sharpening. And adjusted the shadows and blacks. Then I cropped it to what is shown. I shot the image pretty fast, it was raining outside, PP helped a lot.

Great job on the frontend and backend
I've been using the clarity some lately also. I've found it to be powerful in certain situations where there is plenty of contrast. Thanks for the info

I was playing with a dark field lighting technique tonight. Glass is tricky to light because it's transparent and reflective, but I really like this effect:
