Panasonic GX-1
Panasonic announced a new m4/3 camera today, which appears to be the proper successor to the GF1.
To me this is good news and Im glad to see Panasonic is doing right by the pro/enthusiast market. I was very much ready to tell them to pound sand over their sudden idea to dumb down the GF line.
As usual all the morons over on DPreview are pissing and moaning without really knowing what they are talking about...
The biggest changes to the form factor of the GF1 are really a new sensor...which is basically all the camera needed in my opinion to bring it up to date to compete.
Not sure that I'll run out and grab one...but I will be keeping my peepers open as more info come to light.

I was eyeing the Olympus EP-3 as my next camera but this new GX1 is pretty impressive. I'm a big Panasonic fan after owning a LX-3 for three years and now want something that can handle low light without having to lug around my Nikon D7000 everywhere. The price point of the GX1 is a bit daunting but hopefully it will go down by the time I'm ready to get one next summer.

Ive been VERY happy with my GF1...even without the lowlight abilities that I can achieve with my D3...the pancake 20mm is a great little lens.
Its just REALLY FUN to use.
