One of the guys on my Glacier trip had an H3D. Maybe I'm wrong, but I could swear he said it was already 30+ MP. When you're already that huge with resolution, I can't see the extra 9 MP really buying you a whole lot. Unless they made significant strides with dynamic range or noise, this sort of seems like the Hasselblad equivalent of the 20D->30D upgrade.

It's a beautiful-looking camera in a funky kind of way. The files that thing produces must be masssive.

From reading the story it wasn't much of an upgrade. I guess just adding better technology to get a little better results.
