I see what you mean - good summary. I really should have said "9 times out of 10 it makes MY pics look worse". :P

FWIW - My one and only genuine complaint on LR is why the hell aren't you able to adjust the cropping frame while zoomed in to 1:1? Pretty inexcusable.

Just take some medium-close shots the next time they have burlap sack night at one of the clubs.

Thanks for this. After spending about 30 seconds figuring out how to use that info you posted, I added the RSS feed to My yahoo!. I just downloaded the trial version and have barely a clue what I'm doing/where to start. Thanks.
