Just bought a used MKII Canon
I found a great deal on a very clean 1D MKII over at Fredmiranda. It arrived today and I am blown away. I've been shooing an original 1D for about two years now. I was always having to work around the limitations of the original.
Let me just say, the MKII blows my MKI away in low light, high ISO. I can shoot ISO 1600 completely clean on the MKII ---- ISO1600 on the MKI is a noisy mess (especially if under exposed.)
Image quality wise, they are both very good at low ISO in good light. Sure there is twice the detail in the MKII, but the MKI is still good.
Really, I'm just blown away.

Thanks. I have been working a lot recently. However, here is a frame from the new MKII shooting outside of my window at work
The MKII with the 17-40L @ F4.5, ISO 100

And the MKII itself, shot with the old dog 1D
