Question I dropped my new DSLR out of the box

I got a brand new Nikon D7200. To be careful, I took it to den to open up the box by myself. Took my time. Long story short, I dropped the camera with the lens on from waist high to the floor with carpet.

No visible damage. The camera seem to work as it should. The AF motor in the new lens (18-140) seem to sound a bit more tingly (seems to make more noise), then my other old AF lens (35mm). I don't know if that's how it is, or is there something wrong.

Looking at the pics, it looks fine. Camera works great. Lens focus fast and well.

Am I SOL, will something be wrong later you think because the lens and body has been dropped? Or are DSLR better built at this level?

I searched on-line and there are people who said, their camera bodies rolled down a rock hill 5 feet and still work like a champ. But I believe these are pro models.

I'm not familiar with Nikon, but with Sony, one of the things to malfunction due to a drop is the image stabilization... with Sony A-mount, the I.S. is ON the body, with Nikon, it's going to on the the lens (I'm assuming whatever lens got has VR), so check and see if the VR is working
