I stopped Fuji’s booth at NAB. I finally got hold the xh1. I really like the feel. It had the 16-55 on it and it felt nicely balanced with no grip. I would love to upgrade to this body, oh well.

I also finally got got to play with a gfx. Fuck me that resolution. Daddy wants.

    I tried out the LUT on some test footage I shot with 6Dmkii using the technicolor cinestyle profile.

    Looks really nice even coming from my canon cam.

    Thanks. I upgraded last night...funny, first firmware upgrade Ive done, I was behind, haha.

    I should also update the FW on my lenses.

    I saw the LUT, I'll look in to that a little later. Not a huge priority for me since I don't really use this camera for video. yet I was excited to see the internal flog and 120fps at 1080.

    X-T2 firmware 4.01 is out.

    basically rolls the camera back to pre4.0 firmware due to bugs that came with the 4.0 update.

    Firmware for X-T2 | Fujifilm Global

    <Notice>
    We have discovered malfunctions in the firmware ver.4.00 released on May 8 2018. Therefore, we withdrew the firmware ver.4.00.

    <Details of the Problem>
    • 1.When RAW files, which were taken by X-T2 (before firmware ver.4.00), are converted in camera (ver.4.00) or by "FUJIFILM X RAW STUDIO", they are not converted properly.
    • 2.When pressing the shutter button halfway under certain conditions, the live view can flicker.
    • 3.In rare cases, a hang-up can occur.
    We will inform you later of the detail of fixed firmware for the malfunctions.
    As a temporary solution for customers who have upgraded the firmware to ver.4.00, we have prepared a new firmware version of 4.01 whose functions are same as the ver.3.00.
    Please update your camera to ver.4.01 to avoid the malfunctions.
    *Ver.4.01 doesn't include the additional functions of ver.4.00.

    different line. It sits below the X-T20 but above the X-A5.

    Supposedly competes with the A6000 in terms of price.

    Doesn't use an X-Trans sensor but a more traditional bayer sensor.

    I know it’s not x trans but a lot of reviews are liking this one. I love the tiny size. Pair this with the 23/2 and it’s a great everyday camera.

    I'd probably pair it with the 18mm or 27mm pancake.

    I do like how the screen can flip out for vlogging/selfies AND it still has the ability to tilt!

    Fujifilm just released firmware updates for Fujifilm X-H1 and Fujifilm X-T2. Both cameras get a major Kaizen update. The Fujifilm X-T2 firmware 4.10 is a revised version of firmware ver.4.00.
    X-T2 firmware is basically a release of the 4.00 firmware but fixed whatever bug there was.

    Not sure if I posted the rumor for it. But a the Fuji XF10 should be announced July 19th.

    basically a Fuji X70, but no selfie screen and no X-Trans.
    24mp

    probably similar specs to the X-T100 is my guess

    I played with the XT100 last week. Very plasticy and cheap feeling compared to the XT20 which is the same size.

    Either way...you want know really killing Fuji for me? The Fuji community. Its just riddled with huge schmucks.

    Yeah I’m sure.

    go to either of the big Fuji pages on FB and its the same threads over and over...What bag do you use, what lens should I get, what software is everyone using.

    There is this over arching conspiracy that LR doesnt handle RAF files as well as other apps. And perhaps it doesnt sharpen fine detail as well as others in some cases...you’d think these guys were all selling prints for thousands of dollars with their whining...but no, typical pixel peepers who put 100% of their crap online. I’m just over it. Need a break.

    the a7III group on Facebook is pretty bad too... I had to leave. And yeah, basically all those same questions you mentioned. I mean, I get that it can be a valid question for some, but what drives me nuts is that it's asked over and (fucking) over again, why can't people learn to fucking search?? Ironically, it's not as bad with the a7RIII and a9 groups, my analogy is that the a7III group = freshman class in HS
