fastest way to convert and burn DVD's

I'm trying to find the fastest programs to pull videos from the net to completed burned DVD's ready to play.

I got a dvd buner laptop and decided to make some for my car.
I was up to 3:00 am last night but I figured out how to do everything but,my way seams like it takes a long time.
There has to be a faster way.
I used a program to keep videos.
I used a program to convert the videos
then I burned the videos.
All 3 steps took about 30minutes to burn 5 full lenth videos.

Does that seem like a long time?
my pc has 2gb ram,250gb hd ,2.1 processor ,windows 7.

what can I do to make faster DVD's.

well your nutshell of how you did it seems about right. download, convert, burn.

what are the programs you're using for each step? what does full-length mean to you?

30 minutes doesn't seem too bad, especially since you're working with video. just need more specifics, please.

using "keep it", to take the video's.
Then use avs convertor.
I dont remember what I burned it with.

As full the full lenth time. 5-6 minute videos

I made another with 8 videos but,the way I'm doing it it wont split the tracks.
I need to try some other programs I think or maybe I'm using a wrong disc or something.
I'm using dvd+rw.
