I can't even see any stitch lines or any evidence that it's multiple photos. Thats awesome. I can't even stitch 2 photos together without looking retarded.

My camera (an old canon s30) has a "photo stitch" mode and it comes out perfectly.

As long as you have a tripod, this is not hard.

Anyways, i'm not trying to take away from the photo. its awesome. But i think any one of us could have taken that with the right gear.

thats pretty cool, anyone can do this, you just need to make sure you have a tripod, and more importantly, have a camera with the tripod mounting screw centered to the center of the lens, unlike many cameras, which i feel is completely brainless on behalf of the camera manufacturers

Technically speaking, you need to have your tripod head's axis of rotation under the lens's nodal point not its center. The nodal point it the place in the light path where the light beams converge and the image flips from right side up to up side down.
