I have a Fotodiox adapter on my NEX-6, was about $100.
theres also the sigma MC-11 adapter. The benefit of that one is that sigma GV lenses will run like native lenses on the A6000.
Canon adapted lenses won't thou unless you had the a6300/6500.
i also have a Vello speedbooster I got recently for about 150.

With the a6000 I wouldn't bother with the metabones since on the a6000 you can't have 3rd party lenses using the PDAF (the sigma adapter with sigma GV lenses is a bit different)

Yes. I brought it up to the admins.
they said to just post the share URL, not the embed BB code.

you can also just uncheck the "Automatically embed media (requires automatic parsing of links in text to be on)." option in the additional options section of the advanced editor.

fawkin' great... I got the RX10M4.... now I can't read any of the RAW files.... It says new Adobe Camera Raw 10 should read it but it's not. Looks like the new Lightrooms support it, might have to go the upgrade route. #firstworldproblems

Does any one have any suggestions for cityscape time lapse movies?
Particularly does the 180° rule still apply?
I'm heading to Vegas and thinking of trying out the 4K time lapse movie mode on the 6D Mark II.
I think a shot every 1 second should be good to get movement on the cars and pedestrians.

it looks like the built in 4K time lapse movie mode only records in 30fps.
Was hoping to film non-time lapse scenes on 24fps and combine with a 24fps time lapse.
also a quick google mentions that for time lapses its recommended that the shitter speed be half the interval time.
ie. 1 second interval equals 1/2 second shutter speed.
with a faster speed, you end up with strobing. Too slow then you get excessive trailing?

I don't know time lapse too well to comment on that stuff
The times I've tried it I just play around with it and see what it does

Second shot a wedding this past weekend.
Shot side by side with the 6D Mark II and 1st gen 6D.
gotta say the AF on the original 6D is not so hot.
In low light or heavily backlit scenes the AF would hunt.
also 9 total points was so limiting I just left it on the center point.
also loved the center point continuous AF tracking mode on the 6D2, just wish all 45 points weren't clumped up in the center of the frame
