2nd wedding as main photog | InterContinental Hotel | SF, CA
You guys might remember the first wedding I shot as the main photog that I posted here:

Well here's my 2nd wedding. The suite at the hotel was BALLER. It was two stories, had a grand piano and overlooked all of SF. It was the presidential suite...literally. Apparently Obama stayed in that same room when he came to visit SF.
Overall I'm somewhat happy with my shots, although I feel like there weren't as many keepers. There was actually a 2nd shooter there and we split up to cover the wedding party so I don't have many shots of the bridesmaids
Sorry for the watermarks, I used the pics in a blog post and I'm too lazy to edit them out

Every shot shown here conveys 'joy'. That is something that seems to be often missing in wedding photos...

btw there are so many wedding photo threads (at other boards) where I scroll through and do a big fat "meh". this is definitely not one of em!

Good stuff - congratulations!
My only negative critique is number 18 (possibly, I'm the only one bothered by it because I'm a woman.) It's not very flattering to the bride (or the groom, for that matter), and I probably would have scrapped it for that reason. Or played with it in black & white to see if I could even out their skin a little, and maybe even go overboard with the shadows to make her armpit skin blend with the shadow there. It's a great moment, and as a photographer I really like the strong directional lighting, but as a woman and a bride, I'd want it deleted, as is.
Other than that, I love the set. Do you have any more weddings coming up?

Beautiful shots! Yeah when I saw #18, I thought, I doubt she's going to like that one.. beautiful pic though, just not very flattering.
