I shot my cousin's chandelier a while back too.
Thanks..I did one in color slightly different..(they were looking at each other)
And this one in B&W looking at the camera..Very similar pics..Can I ask what makes the in color pic 10x better? Is it the processing of the B&W or something else?

First your subjects are smiling which would lead to a more cheery composition (color). If you study the masters especially Ansel Adams his composition and timing were impeccable and also shot in medium format. Our dslr's have issues with light and more often than not screw up the lighting. Even though pictures come out sharp it's a chore to get the lighting right.
Did a major overhaul in this thread deleting posts that did not belong here. We have a good thing going here and shouldnt be ruined by a couple of people. We're on the internet, people will give criticism to your work. Like or don't like it. If you don't like it then ignore it, you can't change one's opinion.
With that being said, this is still in effect. Don't like it, go cry to your momma.
So lets enjoy the artistic photos from other members instead of getting e-fights on here.

PTTL, I think I like the B+W treatment better than the other one in color in the other thread! Really diggin it. I can feel the quiet solitude. And the cold feet.
