the local Sony rep did this "Photowalk" tonight, and the featuring cameras were the RX1 And RX100... I got to play with the RX1 for a little bit... this was held last night too, but by the time I signed up, it was filled so I got to do it tonight, which sucks because it was clear and dry all day yesterday... but it rained tonight so we were limited to going around Downtown with the cameras.

These were taken in JPEG with the "High Contrast B&W" effect mode with very little PP

funny sometimes what things make it to Flickr Explore... I took this random shot the other night when I got to play with the Sony RX1 at the demo-ing event (of the Sony a99, NOT mine... but one of the other participants'), and it got Explore'd

^^ that's because the RX1 is an elusive camera - if you post photos with hard-to-get or new cameras you'll have higher chances of those getting Explore. The first few photos I posted with the RX100 got Explored. The rarer the camera is, the better the chances.

I think that goes by search terms - there will be more people searching for images from those cameras - and consequently more hits on your photos taken with those cameras.
