ugh, this is by far the most snow Vancouver has gotten in a long time... even my wife, who's lived here the past 15+ years has never seen this much snow

^so that's where all the snow is. Going to be in the low 70s here today.

Caught the sunset coming back from a friend's house on Christmas day. The sun was massive but I was unable to capture it from the vantage point.

Got to see some flowing lava during my trip to the big island. Not as up close as id have liked (wanted to be able to poke it with a stick)

but still closer than i have been before.

Its an off highway route from around Primm out to Palm Springs. It was awesome, and empty, and I could as fast as I wanted with no other assholes around. I loved it.

anytime you want to test out AF performance, just go to ANY dog park, and literally ask ANY dog owner if you can use their dog as a test subject, they will never deny you

Here's another one with the same camera, sorry, it's a watch again. Color is great, neither of these pics had much processing done. Really quick in full auto mode, when I switch to Aperture or Shutter priority, controls are really intuitive (to me). BTW, the past two pics have been with the 16-50 kit lens.

Seeing real time exposure, even when using a heavy ND filter, such as 8, 10 or 15 stop. Is one....
