Acurazine Photo Contest #37
The theme for this contest is: "Motion"
Got something that you've captured "in motion"? Post it here.
Any interpretation of the theme is good.
HDR *IS NOT* allowed.
The rules for this contest are as follows:
-The subject can be anything you deem acceptable that fits the description.
-You must be the person that took the photos. Previous photos are acceptable as long as you are the one that captured the image.
-One submission per contest.
-Images must be no larger than 1024px in any direction. Links to larger images are allowed but you must have one that is under 1024px for the poll.
-All contestants must host their own pictures.
-All pictures must have a title.
-While post processing in Photoshop is allowed, adding or removing parts of the picture is not. In the event a photo is suspected to be "photo-chopped," the contestant will be asked to provide the original picture.
Important dates and poll info:
Entries must be submitted to this thread no later than January 15th 9PM EST
The poll will start on January 15th at 9PM
The poll will close on January 20th at 9PM EST

Doh... not new at all. Oh well. Here's my contribution. You'd think if I was going to choose something, I'd make sure I had some good pictures first. Oh well.

You have to have them put an end date for the contest submissions.

You can see motion in pictures, in some you just know it's motion stopped.

lol... sorry about the timing guys. Is there somewhere the "rules" are posted? I tried to find some more info about what exactly my newfound duties were, but could not. Checking the old thread, it was edited so I couldn't tell when the poll actually starts.
Like I said before though - if anyone feels the need to change the timing - by all means. lol. (And am I the one responsible for creating the poll? Or do the magic powers that be handle that?)

As far as length of contests, there's been some discussion - most of them have run from 3 weeks to a month. The general consensus seems to be that a month is too long.
