Great image JT...only critique....level out the shot and resubmit. Then it would be perfectly symmetrical.

I miss my 03 CL-S :(
An easy way to level things out in PS is to use the measure tool. Click the little ruler, then drag out a line tracing out a line that should be horizontal on the image (like, say, a horizon), then go to edit...transform...rotate...arbitrary. The pop-up will come up pre-populated with the angle measured by the measure tool. Click ok, and viola! The line you measured should now be perfectly horizontal.

Big Block go VROOOM!
^^Not to be an ass (like that's ever stopped me) but it's actually called the ruler tool. I just wanted to mention the correct name in case anyone goes searching for it.

Damn, this is off to a great start!

Sorry - I'm super critical.
This is a great example of barrel distortion. Look along the top and bottom edge of the pic at the way it drops off and curves up on either side. This can be adjusted in ps or lr or whatever flavor you use and maybe the powers that be will allow you to replace?
:twocents:
Great shot!

GLowder - nice Love shot! Tough getting pics there without people jumping into the frame.
But the distortion is symmetric.

I like it!
There have been a few times I've shot public restrooms (no people in the shot), but I get so many dirty looks from people in the restroom or as I come out (camera in-hand), that I've basically stopped unless it's completely empty.

but, i had already leveled out the image in PS and felt the barrel distortion gave it 'perspective'...eh whatever...it's the most interesting symmetrical piece i'll shoot before this contest ends...
and yes, i made sure the distortion was symmetrical on both sides before submitting
