Hi,

Wondering if anyone in the bay area could loan or sell me the stock airbox for a 2004-2006 TL.

The SMOG guy I went to claims my AEM intake isn't correct for the TL even with the corret CARB sticker, unfortunately I can't prove him wrong, so I just want to put the stock airbox on and get it passed.

Good luck. Why does he says the intake isnt correct?

 

They claim that the bung on the front that has a screw in it is not correct for this car and that its for the old TL. I remember that the old version of this intake had an extra bung, but I can't find any install instructions that specifically say so.
